Tom Roesch

Please smile as you remember Tom Roesch, 73, who recently passed in Edmonds, Washington. Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Tom graduated from Badin High School in 1967, enlisting in the Navy 1969. During his 10 years of service, he received a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography from the University of Washington. After graduating, Tom became an Officer, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant in 1979. Tom continued his career as Manager of Test and Trials for Todd Shipyard in Seattle.

Spending time with Tom, you would find him preparing delicious meals that fed the soul, hauling in a fresh catch of fish or crab, or throwing a ball for an Irish setter, all the while surrounding himself with many loved ones. Following his passion for music, Tom provided funky licks on the bass guitar for several Seattle area bands.

Until he can celebrate with them again, Tom leaves behind his wife of 49 years – Anne, daughter Sarah, son Lenny, daughter Sana, son-in-Law David and the lights of his life, granddaughters Izzy and Esme. Siblings are Howie, Larry, Bill and Jenny.
Tom’s great sense of humor, easy smile, contagious laughter, and caring heart brought out the best of everyone he touched and he will continue to live on in their smiles.

Tom’s family ask that you raise your glass and make a toast to enduring friendships both life-long and beyond. Finally, to Tom – we wish you fair winds and following seas.
