It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Lawrence Pecoraro, age 76, of La Palma, California, on March 1, 2026.
Bob had a rare and generous spirit — the kind that made everyone around him feel like family. His friends weren’t just friends; they were brothers and sisters. Every child in his life was, in his heart, one of his own. He welcomed people with open arms and held them there, and those fortunate enough to know him will carry that warmth for the rest of their lives.
He will be fondly remembered for his love of a fine glass of wine, his passion for beautiful cars, and the deep affection he had for his beloved pets.
Bob spent most of his professional life in the furniture industry, a career that took him around the world and introduced him to countless people who became lifelong friends. He had a gift for connection wherever he went.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife, his children, his brother, his father, and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Services
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Barton Funeral Home, 11630 Slater Ave NE, Kirkland, WA, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at Kirkland Cemetery, 8100 122nd Ave NE, Kirkland, WA.
A Celebration of Life will also be held in Los Angeles, CA, at a date to be announced, and in Anacortes, WA, in July. Details will be shared with family and friends in the coming weeks.
