Reginald Steven Chan

After a long and courageous battle with brain cancer, Reginald Steven Chan passed away peacefully in his home in Shoreline, Washington on March 21st, 2013.

 

Reggie is well remembered as an outstanding athlete with an infectious smile and an inextinguishable zest for life.  Reggie enjoyed camping, skiing, golfing, playing volleyball and tennis with his wife, Lori and was extremely devoted to his dogs, Kodiak, Bella and his belated and beloved, Hunden.h10200063

 

 

 

 

 

Reggie loved his work as a software engineer for an avionics company in Redmond, Washington and developed many strong friendships with co-workers spanning a period of 26 years.  Reggie also had a passion for teaching skiing and maintained warm and lasting relationships with long-time clients as well.

Reggie loved life and all it had to offer.  His incredibly positive attitude during his 18 month battle with cancer was inspiring to all who knew him.  He leaves behind many, many friends and family who loved him dearly.

 

In celebration of his life, a memorial service will be held on Friday, April 5th at 12:00 noon at Golden Gardens Bath House located at 8498 Seaview Pl NW, Seattle, WA.  In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Reggie’s name to fund brain cancer research and whistler 003patient support at www.chriselliottfund.org
