
Patrick Ryan
Patrick Joseph Ryan passed away on 11/9/25 in Woodinville, WA at age 86.
He was born 3/20/39 in Carlow, Ireland, where he attended the Christian Brothers School for several years and traveled to London at age 18 to train in the hospitality industry.
In 1960 he immigrated to California and worked for many years in the restaurant business. There he met his wife, Jane, and the two moved up to Washington state in 1980. He worked in the automobile sales business for a few years, and then the two owned and operated the Sure Shot Pub in North Bend for about 20 years and the Horseshoe Saloon in Woodinville for a short time.
He is survived by his sisters Kathleen Ryan and Margarite Greene and his wife Jane. Preceding him in death were his brother Pascal and sisters Una, Bridget and Maura. He was a beloved brother and uncle to many nieces and nephews both in California and Ireland.
He loved his home country and excelled in reciting poetry particularly Irish. He had a colorful life which resulted in numerous memorable experiences. He also loved reading and many genres of music.
He will be sorely missed for his wit and ability to bring people together.
