Cindy Bergmann

With great sadness, the family announced that our beloved Cindy Minh Tran Bergmann, age 55, went to eternal peace on September 30, 2026 after a courageous fight with cancer.  Cindy fought with determination and grace, inspiring everyone who knew her.

Cindy was a devoted mother to Caitlin and Connor, who made up her entire world.

Cindy was survived by her children, Caitlin and Connor; former spouse, Craig Bergmann; her brother Hung Tran (Hoa) of Columbus, Ohio; brother Michael Tran  of New Port Richey, Florida; sister Minh Tuyet Tran Dimas (Oscar) of Corpus Christi, Texas; nephews Anthony Tran, Nam Tran Dimas, Viet Long Dimas, Quang Trung Dimas, Tien Tran, and niece Thuong Tran.  Cindy will be reunited in heaven with her parents Anh Tran and Hien Nguyen and her brother Dan Tran.

A graduate of South High School in Columbus, Ohio, Cindy won several scholarships to study at The Ohio State University.  She graduated Cum Laude and was a registered pharmacist.  Cindy came to the United States at the age of 9 as a refugee and was initially placed in grade 4.  However, she was demoted to grade 3 because of her English skill deficiency.  But with determination, within two short years, she proudly won a spelling bee contest and continued to excel in her academics through college.  Cindy had always been the most precious jewel in the family.

Cindy was loving, caring, gorgeous, and intelligent.  She was vibrant and full of life.  Cindy enjoyed travel, cruises, beautiful beaches, warm tropical oceans, colorful flowers, good foods, and fashions.  Her favorite colors were pink (not coral), lavender, violet, purple, and sky blue.  Cindy will be greatly missed by her loving family, siblings, friends, and patients.

A celebration of life for Cindy will be held on October 17, 2026 at:

Barton Family Funeral Service
11630 Slater Ave NE Ste 1A
Kirkland, WA 98034

Visitation will start at 10 am followed by a service at 11 am.  Cremation will follow.

Cindy asked her relatives and friends to dress in their best clothes.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who offered prayers, thoughts, and support, as well as to the many caregivers who provided Cindy with compassionate care.
