Louis R. Mullen

Louis R. Mullen, age 76, passed away June 8, 2026, at Auburn MultiCare Hospital in Auburn, Washington.

He was born on May 6, 1950, in Toledo, OH, and he was the son of the late Guy and Rosalyn Mullen.

He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War.  He proudly served for over 20 years.  During his service time he earned the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal and several additional Commendation Metals during his tenure.  He was also an avid blood donor for multiple years, receiving pins and a plaque for donating over 15 gallons.

He is survived by his spouse, two children, a sister and one grandchild.  He was a wonderful provider, not just monetarily but through education and experiences.  He enjoyed the outdoors, be it camping, skiing or his biggest passion, late in life, using his chainsaw.

He will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery on June 22nd.  Per his wishes he will receive a green burial, resting amongst a bed of moss.  While we are sad he will no longer be able to offer fruit and candid conversations amongst neighbors and friends, we are happy he is now freed from a tortuous mind.  We love you.
