March 18, 1948 – February 16, 2026

Roberto Orpiano Delos Santos was born on March 18, 1948 at Fort William McKinley, Makati, Rizal, Philippines to Angel De Los Santos, Sr. and Julita Orpiano as the sixth of seven children (Encarnacion, Rosalina, Angel Jr., Clarita, Florida and Dolores). In 1969, he came to the United States and lived in Delano, California with his brother, Angel Jr. In 1975, he moved to Seattle, Washington to join his sisters, Rosalina and Dolores.
The following year, Roberto was introduced to the love of his life, Flordeliza Fedelicio Gamilla through mutual friends. They were married on August 7, 1976 at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, Washington and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They are blessed with three wonderful daughters and three grandchildren. Roberto, beloved husband, dad and grandpa, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and daughters in Kirkland, Washington on February 16, 2026 at the age of 77.
Roberto was strong-willed and independent. He was generous and affectionate in his own ways towards his family and friends. He loved to cook and enjoyed watching baseball, basketball and football. He loved to drink whiskey and play poker! He was a hard worker tackling various types of jobs. He was very meticulous with the things he did especially making sure the house was very clean. He loved and enjoyed his family. He was a tremendously proud grandpa who truly adored and loved his grandchildren.
Roberto is survived by his loving wife Flordeliza; daughters: Tracy Anne, Christina (Patrick Kaster), and Regina; grandchildren: Andrew Patrick, Aaron Jameson, and Ava Lily Kaster; his sisters: Sr. Encarnacion Delos Santos OP, Rosalina Pabalate, Clarita Navarrete, Dolores Palacpac-Yescas; numerous nephews and nieces; and his loving extended family.
Roberto will be missed by everyone, especially his family. He will be in our hearts always and forever. May he rest in eternal peace.
His funeral mass was celebrated on March 2, 2026 at St. John Mary Vianney Catholic Church in Kirkland, Washington with internment at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline, Washington.
