Kathleen Helen Reeves

Kathleen Reeves

Kathleen Helen Reeves (nee Johnson) passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026 at her daughter’s home in Issaquah WA.  She was born September 29, 1946 in Los Angeles, California and graduated from Monroe High School in 1964.

Mom shared her life with Tim Carroll Reeves, raising three children in Woodinville, WA, settling there after his career in the Coast Guard.  She was passionate about her home, her many crafting projects, gardening and sharing her love of the Christmas season.  She could often be found at Molbaks or Flower World as she worked tirelessly to create a beautiful backyard garden that included a koi pond.

Kathy enjoyed boating in the San Juan Islands with Tim or long car rides to discover new places in Washington (with lots of boutique shopping!).  Her many cat and dog companions brought her much happiness throughout her life.  She enjoyed being a “Nana” and the silliness that came with her grandchildren’s innocence.

Mom’s struggle with an early Alzheimer’s diagnosis that made the remaining years of her life full of challenges. Being able to live out her remaining days in the care of her daughters surrounded by the reminders of her faith, song favorites of her past and the presence of nature honored her spirit and her life.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Heather Ross (Brett) of Issaquah, WA; daughter, Kimberly Reeves of Auburn, WA; son Timothy Reeves (Athlynn) of Newberg, OR; brother Steve Johnson (Myra) of Tempe, AZ, niece Penny Larson (Eric) of Tempe, AZ, nephew Eric Johnson (Megan) of San Diego, cousin Alexandra McIntyre-Klein (Andrew) of Lake Shasta, CA; grandkids Tanner and Haley Ross and Timothy and Esther Reeves.
