Tatsuki Kobayashi
Tatsuki Kobayashi passed away on October 30, 2025. He was born in Fujimi, Japan, the oldest of four brothers. In 1958, Tatsuki came by boat to Seattle, the first of many adventures. He worked a variety of jobs before finding a career with the City of Seattle.
He was active in the Seattle Tashkent Sister City Association, leaving dear friends in Uzbekistan.
Tatsuki adored and raised many animals including a kinkajou, several beautiful Salukis and llamas.
He was a talented photographer, jeweler, gemologist and practitioner of the lost art of grisaille enamel.
He made his home in Woodinville, surrounded by caring and supportive neighbors.
The flamenco, bellydance, and arts communities will miss his big heart and bigger smile.
Celebration of this remarkable life will be in the spring
