Cris John Porras

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cris John Porras (BiBoy), who left too early in his journey of life on September 28th, at the of 26.

Biboy lived his life with courage, independence, and joy. From an early age, he knew what he wanted in life and worked toward his dreams with determination. He was adventurous and unafraid to try new things. He was eager to explore the world and dreamed of moving back to the Philippines one day. Basketball was one of his passions, a game where his energy, perseverance, and hard work matched his personality. Above all, Biboy wanted those around him to be happy — his positivity, kindness, and laughter brought light to every life he touched.

Though his time was far too short, Biboy lived fully, bravely, and with purpose. His adventurous spirit and joyful heart will continue to inspire everyone who knew him.

Biboy is survived by his loving mother, Gemma Porras, and his step father, John Jackson; his siblings, Cris Maeh Kershaw and Patrick Abastas; his grandmother, Violeta Porras and his cherished niece, Kalani Kershaw. He will be remembered as a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and  friend.
