Carol Anne Glasser

Carol Anne Glasser

On the morning of April 11, 2019, after a courageous battle with Leukemia, Carol Anne Glasser peacefully passed away at the age of 69 with her husband and children by her side. Carol was born on May 6, 1949 in Seattle, WA to Alexander and Hilda (Anderson) St. John. Carol is survived by her husband, Robert, whom she married on March 20, 1971 and their 4 children Rob (Staci),  Brandon (Michi), Jeff (Macaully), and Kylene.

Carol was a loving wife and mother but the title she was the most proud of was Mimi. Her kind heart and love for life lives on in her 5 beautiful grandchildren Katie, Maddy, Maya, Seli, and Coen. She is also survived by her brothers Richard and Fred St. John of Spokane, WA and her sister Joyce Palazzo of Bothell, WA.

Carol was an avid quilter and knitter who loved to spend time with friends working on projects and sharing stories. Through her battle with cancer she took more to knitting than quilting and became a pro at making hats and shawls to keep warm. Carol loved to organize family dinners and outings where everyone could be together. She was always a

social butterfly.

Carol will be laid to rest in a private family service. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on what would have been her 70th birthday, May 6, 2019. More details to come.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to either Whisker City cat rescue in Shoreline, WA, a place Carol had planned on volunteering at in the future, or to support Acute Myeloid Leukemia research through SCCA. Checks may be made payable to SCCA with indication that they are in memory of Carol Glasser and sent to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, P.O. Box 19023, Seattle WA 98109-1023.
