Nancy (Shriver) Whatmore

3/19/1953 – 12/29/2023

After years of battling cancer, Nancy passed away very peacefully early December 29th.  She was a great Sister, Aunt and friend and will be missed by all.

Nancy was born to George and Frances Whatmore, 3/19/1953, at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle.  She grew up in Beaux Arts in Bellevue and lived in Bellevue most of her life.  She was a member of Bellevue High Schools class of ‘71.  She loved horses, cats, skiing, sailing, hiking, traveling, genealogy and being a member of SIFF.  Wine and nice dinners were her specialty. She was proud to be a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

She is survived by her sister Pam and brother David and nieces Elizabeth Ostendorf and Sharon Whatmore and nephews Christopher Ostendorf and Ethan Whatmore.

No services will be held but she asked that everyone to focus on recycling more and in lieu of flowers donation be sent to:

1.       Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Program

2.      Woodland Park Zoo (https:\\www.zoo.org)

We want to thank her doctors at Virginia Mason and Evergreen Hospice and all of the wonderful people that helped during her final time.
