Linda F. Dunlap of Kirkland, Washington passed away unexpectedly at Evergreen Hospital Thursday, March 28, 2013.  She was 69 years old.

Linda was born July 22, 1943 in Kirkland to George J. Sr. and Alice Josephine (Kreider) Bullo.  Linda grew up in Redmond, Kirkland and Bellevue.  Linda went to Bellevue High School and Sammamish High School.

 

Linda married Jerry Dunlap on January 11, 1962.  Linda traveled with her husband (who was a private in the US Army) to Fort Irwin California, Fort Riley Kansas, Fort Benning Georgia and finally, Fort Bragg North Carolina.

 

Linda had her first daughter (Corinna) on January 7, 1964.  Second daughter (Serenna) on October 8, 1970.

Linda loved to sing.  She spent everyday singing around the house.  When Karaoke came about, her daughters got her to sing at a restaurant Karaoke.  From then on, she sang almost every Friday and Saturday nights at Karaoke bars, restaurants, and bowling alleys on the Eastside, Everett, Seattle, and Renton.

 

Linda was a loving and caring woman.  She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, and her family always made her happy.

Survivors include her husband Jerry of Kirkland; daughters Corinna L. (Mike) Ballou of Castle Rock, CO; Serenna L. (Ed) Brookman of Kenmore; grandchildren Andrea N. Ballou of Castle Rock; Natalie M. Brookman of Kenmore; Nathan E. Brookman of Kenmore.  Brother George J. Bullo II of Powers, OR; brother Clyde Bullo of Sammamish.  She was preceded in death by her mother Alice J. Bullo, her father George J. Bullo Sr., and brother Kenneth Bullo.

Interment will be Tuesday, April 9, at 1:15 PM  Tahoma National Cemetery, Maple Valley, Washington.

 

Reception will follow at Ed & Serenna Brookman’s home,  Kenmore, Washington.
