Judy Zaccaria

Judy Ann Zaccaria was born on August 7, 1944 to Helen Sluga and John Costello, in Price, Utah. She is the middle of three girls: Jona, Judy and Barbara. She grew up in Helper, Utah. She attended public schools, graduating from Carbon High School in 1962. She completed 2 years at Carbon College. In 1960 she met the love of her life, Darryl Zaccaria. They went together for 2 years, were engaged for 2 years, and were married for 58 years.

Judy and Darryl had 3 children: Jason, Darren and Desiree. There was nothing more important to her than family. She was a beautiful seamstress, dedicated homemaker and a fabulous cook, all skills she learned from her mother.

Life was not without challenge for Judy. In August 2019 their beautiful daughter died, leaving her heartbroken. A few years later Judy fought a courageous battle with cancer, handling everything with grace, dignity, and strength.

She is survived by her husband Darryl, and sons Jason, Darren (Judy Look) and granddaughter Alexis. Also, by sisters Jona (Tony) Gonzales, Barbara (Bill) Jewkes, loving nieces, nephews, a special uncle Lou (Madeline) Tonc, extended family, and a community of friends.

She was a pillar at St John Vianney church. A Rosary will be held 9/8/22, 7 pm at SJV. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am on 9/9/22 at St John Vianney, 12600 84th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98034.
