Joe D. Ramos

Joe D. Ramos

A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend left his world unexpectedly, at 59, on November 24, 2019. Born August 22, 1960 in Talogtog, Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines. He married his longtime friend and love, Betty Ma’ae on September 2017 and was together for 16 years.

Joe touched everyone he met with his bubbly personality and compassion for those around him. He made everyone feel like a part of the family, showing everyone the love, they deserve.

Joe had a life-long love affair for food; making anything you could crave for. Joe would work in the fishing industry working his way to the top as the chief on the American Seafood Vessel ‘Northern Eagle’. Everyone from other vessels would come just to eat the food he cooked. A hard worker to say the least, Joe also prior to the fishing industry worked in Boeing for 10 years as an aerospace machinist. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do!

He took extreme pride in his niece Rochelle and her kids Aaliyah and Avery, as if Rochelle was his daughter and Aaliyah and Avery as his grandkids. From previous marriage Betty had three kids whom Joe accepted as his own and loved Betty’s grandkids, (Ashley, Paul, Otani, Tommy, Nesi, Sophia and Evan). Apart of his pride he also loved his 9 siblings, (Ted & Virgie Ramos, Pol Ramos, Ray and Erlie Ramos, Fank and Julieta Ramos, Alberto and Elsa Ramos, Elvira and Vic Aberion, Gloria Kawachi-Ramos, Dan and Leanna Ramos. Preceded in death – Parents; Francisco & Isabela Ramos; Siblings – Pol and Ray.

Nieces & Nephews: Christy, Leni, Eliza, Ryndell (deceased), Eric, Christopher (deceased), Rochelle, Raymond, Ramil, Fritzie, Jasmine, Angelito, Joselito, Jennifer, Jocelyn, Jonathan, Frances, Levina, Jay-R, Matthew, Abigail and Nathan.

Joe will be missed for always showing up and showing out with his flashy outfits, his XO, and positive attitude, but most importantly for his big heart! If its one thing that you take from his obituary is that we should always show compassion to anyone you meet and to love hard, you’ll never know when it will be the last time you see your loved ones.
