Jacqueline “Jackie” Ruth (Tobin) Axling

Jacqueline “Jackie” Ruth (Tobin) Axling
Born: January 8, 1938  Died: January 7, 2011
Jacqueline “Jackie” Ruth (Tobin) Axling was born January 8, 1938 in Seattle, WA to John and Ruth Tobin. She is survived by her loving husband Dick Axling, brother Dick Tobin (Joanne) and sister Joyce Baldwin.  She will be greatly missed by her two children John Klein (Traci) and Ryan Klein (Denise) and her grandchildren: Katie, Joshua, Aaron and Lori.  The Axling children, Vaughn Axling and Diana Probert share in this great loss, as well as their children: Mica, Emma, Rylie, Haley, Sarah, Peter, David, Bekah, Daniel, Jordan, Kezi, Abby & Joshua.  As well as her loving cousins: Lloyd, Ron and Larry Kinner.  And her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Jackie’s early years were spent in Cle Elum.  Then the family moved to Mercer Island and she attended Holy Names Academy and then Seattle University. She had a wonderful childhood that was filled with lasting memories and countless, close friendships. Her sincerity, big heart, and kind soul were hard to ignore.  So, because of that, she was loved by many, and left a legacy that will never be forgotten. As the bible so eloquently states, “well done my good and faithful servant”.
Jackie’s greatest passion was sharing Jesus Christ with those around her and this was reflected in her daily life.  She was a joy to be around and freely gave of her time and energy with all of her family, friends, and church community.  She was always involved with her bible study group, and praying for others.  Each year she and Richard would go down to spend time with friends in Arizona for a few months of sunshine.  She loved her bible study group there as well.
