Edward Sinning – August 14, 2008

IN LOVING MEMORY OF EDWARD (EDDIE) SINNING
Eddie left his loving family and friends on August 14Th, 2008.  His passing was peaceful at home with his loving “bride” (as he always referred to me)  holding his hand, also present were my daughter Shari and son-in-law Doug.  Eddie was born in Humbolt Iowa on June 18Th, 1934 to George and Virginia Sinning and was raised in Lake View, Iowa.  After his graduation from high school,  Eddie joined the Navy and was in the intelligence division while serving in Japan. After finishing his service in the Navy, Eddie enrolled and graduated from Buena Vista College and began his wonderful adventure! In all his adventures, Eddie wanted to spread love and joy!.  Eddie is survived and missed deeply by his adoring wife, JoAnne Sinning, twin sons Steven Edward Sinning, Stewart Edward Sinning and daughter in-law Ronda, daughters Shari Taff , Lorraine Bigelow, son-in-law Douglas Bigelow, and grandson Joseph Crowley.  Eddie was blessed to be raised with and survived by three sisters, Diana Smith , Elaine Rex, and Judy Fulkerth.  Eddie also is survived by three brothers-in-law, Ronald Rex, Don Fulkerth, Clarence Smith, his loving Aunt Rachel Pelissier, and many, nieces, nephews, and their families. Eddie loved to entertain family and friends with his many jokes and stories of his past and present adventures. The laughter always rang loud and clear when Eddie was present. Eddie retired from his company Edward and Associates Realty in Lynnwood Washington and kept very busy golfing, fishing, gardening, pond building, motor homing and cooking for his bride. Eddie’s departure was accompanied by a huge meteor shower that night and we are sure he caught the largest shooting star to hitch a ride to his next great adventure! The void Eddie left seems as big as the universe.
I would like to thank Providence Hospice of Seattle for their wonderful care and assistance at our home these last four and one half months. I am very comforted by the fact that Eddie was never in any discomfort and Eddie was a joy to care for!
Eddie will never be forgotten by his loving wife, family and friends.  May God bless and protect Eddie!
