In loving memory of Delbert Sains “Del”
Delbert Sains
Del went to be with the Lord on July 19th, 2026, at the age of 85.
He was born on September 2nd, 1940, in Henryetta Oklahoma to Floyd and Pauline Sains. His parents moved the family from Oklahoma to California when he was a small child.
In 1976 he moved his family to Washington. He was employed by the Boeing company where he eventually retired. Del’s passions were woodworking, rebuilding cars, and fishing. Most important to him was spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In 1994 he married Karen Huber and together they blended their families, sharing eight children, 24 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
Del was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Pauline, his sisters Irma and Loretta, and brother Bob, his infant daughter Rachelle, his son Darrin and his grandson Donald.
Del is survived by his wife Karen; his children, Tim, Pamela, Rick (Mary Ann), Denise, Michelle (Ken), Steve, and Jeremy, 24 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
Though he is no longer with us, his love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
A graveside service will be held on August 14th 2026 at 12:30pm, at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 1575 145th Pl SE,
Bellevue, WA 98007
