She was predeceased by her mother, Donna Lyman; her father, David Lyman; and her long-time partner, Belton Lee, Jr.
Deborah was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. For more than 20 years, she dedicated herself to running a daycare center, where she nurtured, supported, and helped shape the lives of countless children—many of whom grew into adults she remained immensely proud of. Her warmth, strength, and genuine care left a lasting impact on generations of families.
Although Deborah faced a number of debilitating health conditions over the past decade, she continued to show resilience and love in the face of those challenges.
At the time of her passing, Deborah was visiting her sister in Seattle and had been looking forward to making it her permanent home.
Services will be held in Rochester, New York, with details to be announced.
Deborah’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
