It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, David Allen Norton, who lost his courageous battle with cancer on December 6, 2023. Born on November 8, 1946, David leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering support that will be cherished forever.

David is survived by his devoted wife, Margaret D. Norton, his loving daughter, Heidi Heistand, and son, Michael Malloy. He is also remembered fondly by his sister, Pat Crozier, and brother, Dale Norton. David’s spirit lives on through his grandsons, Ryan and Greyson, who were a constant source of joy in his life.

Born on November 8, 1946, Dad was a beacon of strength, warmth, and kindness. He was the devoted husband and together they built a life filled with love and shared adventures. His love extended to his children, as he was not only a father but also a dear friend.

Dad found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had an unwavering passion for spending quality time with family, and his eyes would light up with pride whenever he spoke of his grandsons, Ryan and image of David Allen Norton and grandsonGreyson. Their laughter brought him immeasurable happiness.

Throughout his career, David demonstrated a remarkable work ethic and dedication. He spent many years as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Wyeth/Ayerst, contributing to advancements in healthcare. Later, he transitioned into the real estate industry, where he excelled as an agent for Windermere Real Estate.

Dad’s commitment extended beyond his professional life; he was a devoted family man who played an active role in his children’s lives. As the coach of his daughter’s soccer team, he instilled values of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship. His unwavering support for their endeavors, both big and small, was a testament to his unconditional love.

A true outdoorsman, Dad’s heart was at peace when he was camping, tending to his beloved garden, or embarking on household projects. He had a knack for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, infusing every corner of our lives with his creativity and skill.

Treasure Island held a special place in Dad’s heart. It was more than just a location; it was a sanctuary where he found solace, tranquility, and countless memories with those he held dear. The memories of our family gatherings, shared stories around the campfire, and the simple joy of being together will forever be etched in our hearts.

A celebration of Dad’s life will take place on January 13th, 2024 from 2pm to 4 pm at a house next to the family home at 7220 NE 131st PL, Kirkland, WA 98034. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, a cause close to Dad’s heart.

Dad, your love was a guiding light in our lives, and your memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing you. May you find eternal peace in the arms of the angels.
