Celeste Rene Anderson

Celeste Rene Anderson died on March 31, 2011 peacefully in her sleep at the age of 40.
Celeste was born on January 6, 1971 in Seattle, Washington to Gary and Agnes Anderson.  Celeste is survived by her mother, Agnes, and brother, Christopher, both living in Shoreline.
Celeste was truly a free spirit who truly loved the people in her life.

She was very close to her father, Gary, who passed away last year. She had a simple faith in God and Jesus Christ as her savior.  Living in Shoreline her whole life, she went to Einstein JH and Shorewood High School.    Celeste enjoyed swimming, color pen palate art, a good comedy on the tube and especially giving love to her cats.

She enjoyed participating in First Friends, a social group in Seattle for people with mental difficulties. Prone to wanting to eat out, Celeste liked different kinds of foods, always eaten with family, and appreciated family occasions such as birthdays and holidays.  She lived a simple life and was very non materialistic. At the same time, she liked to get something new periodically to accent her natural beauty.  Celeste would express herself fully when she liked someone and had a real genuineness about her. We will miss her dearly.
A funeral service for Celeste will be held at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Shoreline on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 1pm. She will be laid to rest at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 11am, the same cemetery her father, Gary’s remains are located.  Donations in remembrance can be made to Seattle Children’s Hospital by calling 206-987-4844 or 800-635-1432.
