Eva M. Darcy

Mother was born to Carolina and Henry Anderson in Kimball,
Minnesota, 100 years ago last June. The family moved to Anacortes,
Washington when she was three, where mother matured as a pretty,
blonde, blue-eyed Swede. Graduating from Anacortes High School,
she moved to Seattle to begin a life-long vocation as a seamstress.
She met and married James Christopher Darcy and together they
raised their Swedish/Irish children, James, Kenneth and Carolyn.
Mother gave us her caring respect for others and taught us to
always be considerate of other people's feelings. Many referred to
her as a "sweetheart".
Mother has gone to Heaven to join her husband, "Chris", parents,
siblings; Helen, Alice, Ernest and Herman and many other relatives
and friends. She is survived by her three children, Ken's wife
Julie, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, 2/11/12 at 11:00 AM at St.
Matthew Catholic Church. 1240 NE 127th Seattle, Washington.
Reception to follow in the Parish Community Center.
Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St.
Matthew Parish or to a charity of your choice.
