Shirley Haubrick

Shirley passed away June 28, 2010 at 67 due to progressive
supranuclear palsy. Shirley (Hedin) Haubrick was born in Wisconsin
Rapids, Wisconsin to Jeannette Wilhelmina (Tenpas) and Teodor (Ted)
Hedin. She attended grade school in a one room school in the Town
of Sigel, graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids,
Wisconsin and the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point,
Wisconsin ('66). She taught school for one year in West Allis,
Wisconsin then came to Seattle in 1967 and taught third and fourth
grade for 31 years in Campbell Hill & Sierra Heights schools in
the Renton School District. In 1971 she married James Leonard
Haubrick and the couple made their home in Kirkland, Washington.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, their son Ted Leonard,
step son James Michael, sister Carol, brother Arlyn (Darlene), and
brother-in-law Reverend Robert Sutherland. She was preceded in
death by her sister Lois Sutherland.
The funeral will be at Holy Family Catholic Church in Kirkland
on July 14th at 11:00am with reception to follow from noon to
2:00pm.

in Shoreline at 3:00pm (in St. Joseph Section J, near the
entrance).
